This Privacy Policy explains what personal data GrowthSparx ("GrowthSparx", "we", "us") collects through growthsparx.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and to give visitors from other countries the information their laws typically require.

1. Who is responsible for your data

GrowthSparx is the data fiduciary (data controller) for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us, or our Grievance Officer, using the details in section 12.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiry and audit forms: name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, industry, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Direct messages: anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp, including your number and profile name on WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you view.
  • Form context: when you submit a form we also record the page URL, the time of submission, your browser user-agent, a random event ID, and — only if you have accepted marketing cookies — the Meta identifiers stored in the _fbp and _fbc cookies. These let us avoid counting the same enquiry twice and tell us which campaign brought you to us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: described in section 5 and in our Cookie Policy.

Our free browser tools (calculators, link builders, image converters and similar) run inside your browser. Text you type and images you load into them are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial account details or government ID numbers through this website. Please do not include them in form messages.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use form submissions to send you unrelated marketing without asking you first.

4. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers. Each processes data on our behalf or under its own privacy policy as described:

  • Google — Google Analytics 4 (site analytics), Google AdSense (advertising) and Google Apps Script / Google Sheets (where form submissions are stored). Google Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and anonymised session recordings that show how pages are used, loaded only after you accept cookies. Clarity masks text typed into form fields by default. Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Meta Platforms — Meta Pixel and, where configured, the Meta Conversions API, used to measure enquiries from our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, loaded only after you accept cookies. Meta Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Our hosting provider — which stores standard server logs needed to deliver and secure the website.

We may also disclose data where required by law, a court order or a government authority acting within its powers, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. Advertising and cookies

Some pages on this site show advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Until you accept, Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel do not load, and Google tags run in a restricted, consent-denied mode. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Client project records: for the duration of the engagement and up to 8 years afterwards where tax and accounting law requires it.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention setting in each tool (Google Analytics is set to 14 months).

You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier — see section 8.

7. Where data is processed

Our service providers may store and process data on servers outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer data, we rely on providers that maintain recognised security standards and contractual safeguards, and we follow any restrictions notified by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it where it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for;
  • withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
  • raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may complain to their local supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, email hello@growthsparx.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to enquiry records to the people who need them, and use providers with established security programmes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools, providers or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
